About Chase Spiegel, LCSW Therapist in Memphis

Trauma Treatment Specialist | Disaster Mental Health Volunteer | Truth-Teller

Who knew that when you started Googling "find a therapist near me" that you would’ve found so many therapists in Memphis, TN?!? And yet, … sometimes it can feel like everyone is saying the exact same thing.

How do you find someone who truly meets your needs and understands what YOU are all about? …

Hi! I’m Chase.

I became a therapist because I deeply love helping people who have been through life-changing and traumatizing situations get their lives back. My passion is helping you manage the heavy feelings and reactions that come with those experiences. It is "supercool" for me to see people not just heal the way they see themselves, but return to having genuine hope in their relationships and in the way they see the world in general.

My Style: "Hippy Chic" & No-Judgment

If you are looking for stiff, clinical "slang" or jargon, you won't find it here. I use creative, non-jargon "brain stuff" to explain how trauma affects you. My sessions are laid-back and casual—many of my clients say talking to me feels like talking to a close friend.

I believe in bringing a sense of humor to a no-judgment zone. I cuss occasionally, and we are likely to find some things to laugh at together along the way. As one of my clients recently said, sometimes you have to "unf*ck the yuck."

When I am not in the therapy room or deployed to a disaster zone, I am leaning into my own creative outlets. I create expressive art with acrylic painting and enjoy traveling back to my previous hometown of Florence, Italy.
